The Henry rifle was a lever-action, breech-loading rifle that was designed in the United States in the mid-19th century. It was named after its inventor, Benjamin Tyler Henry, who was an employee of the New Haven Arms Company, which later became the Winchester Repeating Arms Company.

The Henry rifle was first introduced in 1860, and it was widely used during the American Civil War. It had a distinctive brass frame and a 16-shot magazine that could be loaded through a trapdoor in the receiver. Today, the Henry rifle is still produced by the Henry Repeating Arms Company, which was founded in 1996.
